The Lord's Prayer

Why did Jesus teach his followers to pray “like this...”, or to pray at all? Let’s be honest: prayer is often difficult. So it’s a priceless gift that the Son of God gave specific guidance on how to pray! We don’t really see in the New Testament any specific guidelines of “sing like this, do missions like this, do justice like this”; but Jesus said to "Pray like this"! So if you intend to follow Jesus, you really need The Lord's Prayer. Those whom Jesus says are different must pray different. The Lord's Prayer reveals God's heart for the world, and for each of us.
