If God is God, then you are not. If you need a Savior, then you are not the Savior. This principle (antithesis) is often lost on the contemporary mind, but we live our lives in its influence, and it is just as critical regarding Christian faith: “To believe in Jesus you must first disbelieve in yourself” (Gordon P. Hugenberger). Learn from John the Baptist what it means to "decrease" to ourselves as Jesus "increases".
