Real Repentance - 2 Corinthians 7:9-10
October 2, 2022 Speaker: Brian LoPiccolo Series: The Doctrines of Peace
Passage: 2 Corinthians 7:2–13
Real repentance is the difference between being "a good person" and being a new person. When we focus on mere behavior, habits, and getting caught or called-out, we never truly change and mature: that approach is driven by fear and legalism. When however we focus on changed godly thinking that reorders our desires and priorities, we experience real repentance. Personal and corporate repentance is a key factor in reconciling our conflicts.
