Jesus and His Identity—Part 1 - Luke 2:49

The identity of the real Jesus is found in what Jesus said about himself. It is foundational and comforting to know that Jesus knew himself deeply and completely, even at the age of twelve. When we commit ourselves to learning from Jesus, we are not entrusting ourselves to a person whose sense-of-self was imperfect: unstable, always changing—like we are. We can trust this Human who was intimately in-step with God the Father.
