There is conflict surrounding people of faith, and even provoked by people of faith, in our world. A quick glance at Jesus' hard words in Matthew 10:34 might make us think that such conflict was his purpose and intention. But no. Christ’s mission was not to cause conflict; but Christians must understand the impact that Jesus' mission will have on relationships in this world.
