Jesus on Prayer - Matthew 6:5-8

The prayers of common religion are human-centered at God's expense; but Jesus said that true prayer is God-centered at your own expense. Christian prayer approaches God as a Father who intimately knows us. How can that be, since humanity and God are naturally at odds? Because God's true children can pray to him, intimately, at Jesus' expense.
