True religion, says James, looks at one's new identity in Jesus Christ, looks like faith that leads to action, and looks for Jesus in all its pursuits. So those who remember who they are in Christ will do as Christ did. This makes our religion refreshing to the church and to the world, and guards us against religious hyporcisy.
