Passage: James 4:1–10
In church conflicts, our heavenly Father calls everyone to draw near to him. Authenticity in our faith requires authenticity in our relationships with other Christ-followers. We must be "wise" to the hidden desires of our hearts that fuel conflict. We must commit to personal repentance which extinguishes conflict. We may draw near to a God whose grace provides us with the reason, the example, and the power to reconcile.
