Our Sins, Ourselves, and Jesus - John 7:53-8:11
February 20, 2022 Speaker: Brian LoPiccolo Series: Gospel of John
Passage: John 7:53– 8:11
Jesus’ presence is the only safe space for us to come as sinners. We are all morally guilty and deserving God’s wrath as a just penalty. We must each face God, alone, with our sin. That’s a frightening thought! What do we discover though? Amazingly, he does not condemn us! He calls-out our sin truthfully, but graciously offers forgiveness. Do we each see Jesus this way? Do we promote Jesus in this way? Do each of us, in our sense of our own sin and our treatment of others in their sin, believe in the Jesus of this account?
