The Blessings of Belief - John 20:1-31

Passage: John 20:1–31
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is personal, comforting, and reliable. In Jesus’ triumph over death we learn that the gospel is “good news”: it is personal (as Mary Magdalene experienced), it is comforting (as the disciples felt), it is reliable (as Thomas believed). John's resurrection account shifts the "burden of proof" on to those who would doubt its claims. The blessings of belief belong to those who trust in a risen Jesus!
