Blindness and Sight - John 9:1-41

Passage: John 9:1–41
Spiritual “sight” is recognizing God’s goodness and good works in Jesus. Our natural sinful condition is a spiritual blindness against recognizing and acknowledging God’s goodness and good works. There is much to “see” in today’s world; post-modern, industrialized, digitally-native humanity is accessible to nearly everything; but we still lack faith! We do not "see" what God is doing, especially when he works in ways that exceed or frustrate our paradigms and agendas. How then can people recognize God’s saving grace and truth? Jesus must remove our spiritual blindness, to which we may in agreement recognize, “Yes, I was blind, but now I see!”
